The Business, Marketing, and Information Technology Education (BMITE) program at Okmulgee High School is part of the Career and Technical Education (CTE) curriculum, designed to equip students with real-world skills and knowledge. Through hands-on projects and career-focused instruction, students learn key concepts in business management, marketing, entrepreneurship, and information technology. The program also emphasizes essential soft skills such as leadership, teamwork, communication, and critical thinking. BMITE helps prepare students for a wide range of future opportunities, including college, professional certifications, and careers in business and technology fields.

The Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) program at Okmulgee High School is a student-led organization that focuses on personal growth, leadership development, and career preparation through Family and Consumer Sciences education. FCCLA members participate in hands-on projects, competitive events, and community service activities that help them build skills in areas such as nutrition, child development, financial literacy, interior design, and event planning. The program also strengthens essential life skills like communication, teamwork, time management, and leadership. FCCLA empowers students to become confident individuals who are prepared to make a positive impact in their families, careers, and communities.
