Update Regarding Morning District Transportation

Dear Parents and Community Members,
We want to inform you that earlier this morning, Bus 15 was involved in a traffic incident. The bus was stopped when it was rear-ended by another vehicle.
We are grateful to report that students were checked immediately, and appropriate safety protocols were followed. District staff responded promptly, and we are working closely with transportation officials and local authorities to complete all required reviews and documentation related to the incident.
The safety of our students is always our highest priority. We are conducting our due diligence to ensure that all procedures were followed and to determine any next steps needed. If any additional information becomes available that families need to know, we will communicate that promptly.

Update for Parents and Guardians
We want to reassure families that our team has reached out by phone to each parent or guardian of STUDENTS WHO WERE ON THE BUS AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT.
If we were unable to make direct contact, a voicemail or ParentSquare message was left.
All students were assessed and are safe at school. Staff will continue to monitor students throughout the day, and our school nurse remains available should any student need additional support.
